The Endeavors and Marvels of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
Iqbal says:
جو عَالَمِ ایجاد میں ہے صا حبِ ایجاد
ہر دور میں کرتا ہے طواف اس کا زمانہ
Explanation: The Universal Divine Man has the distinctive attribute of innovation which is the manifestation of Allah’s attribute ‘the Originator’ (al-Badi). This attribute refers to Allah’s power to create a completely new creation without any previous pattern, example or material. With this attribute, the Universal Divine Man brings about change in the inner and outer universe by the authority vested in him by Allah. He is the pivot around whom the whole universe revolves due to his magnetic Divine attraction. (Zarb-e-Kalim)
More than three hundred years ago Sultan Bahoo (ra) declared by his pearl divulging tongue:
This quote means that in the world of depravity, one of Sultan Bahoo’s (ra) true followers would promote his teachings under his spiritual guidance. He would end the depravity and revive the true spirit of religion.

The Sun of Faqr Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman who is now brilliantly shinning on the horizon of Sufism and Marifa, was born on 19 August, 1959 AD (14 Safar 1379 AH) at 04:30 am.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Parents:
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s father Abdul Hameed and mother Kaneez Fatima were extremely pious. They were true lovers of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and the People of Cloak as well as true devotees of Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra). Hence the Divine Love was embedded in the soul of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen since eternity and kneaded in his essence since birth. The light of Divine Love illuminated his forehead since childhood so much so whoever saw him got mesmerized.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s mother used to relate that a Dervish often visited her house. Once he came after the birth of Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman. On seeing him, he said:
“Your son is highly blessed. Allah has written a special destiny on his forehead. He will be specially trained under the spiritual supervision of Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra) and will be made to pass through all the stages of life.”
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s Early Life:
To hold the Divine Trust of Faqr for which Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had been chosen since eternity, his tough training started since his childhood under the spiritual supervision of Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra). At a very young age he adopted different sources of earning along with his education because of the financial crisis faced by the family at that time. He attended the school in the morning and in the evening he sometimes grazed the sheep and at times sold things on pushcart in streets to help his parents financially and make life go on. Hard work and struggle are innate in him that is why he was not only a top student but also became a great help to his parents.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, being a keen reader loved to read books on religious topics and history of Islam. His soul was ever curious to know more and more about the religion. His intelligence and writing skills became obvious when he started penning moral based articles in the children’s section of different newspapers when he was in fifth standard.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman did graduation in first division from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in 1983. In 1985 he started government job. He married in 1987 in a very simple ceremony.
Golden Period of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s worldly life
From 1989 onwards, the golden period of his worldly life started. He got a quick promotion at his work place because of his extreme hard work. He also started a business in collaboration with his friends, which grew rapidly and made unexpected profits. Up till now Allah was training him hard by keeping him in poverty so that hard work, patience, perseverance and courage became his nature. Now in this phase of life, at one side Allah granted him the reward of his hard work and patience while at the other side He fulfilled all his worldly needs and desires to the extent that he was sated. It was so also because Allah wanted him to know the reality of the world and become indifferent to it. However, the worldly wealth could never allure him and he always spent it in the way of Allah abundantly.
In spite of gaining all the happiness of life, the soul of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen was restless. The spiritual thirst was not quenched and his search for true happiness was not over yet. How could the soul whose delight was hidden only in the closeness and vision of Allah, find pleasure in superficial affluence? His inward was getting disgusted of the transitory world day by day and he found peace only in worships and recitals. Till November 1995, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had restricted most of his worldly activities and had engaged himself in devotions only.
Prayers and Devotions
He increased the devotions and austerities to the extent that he not even took rest or sleep. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen recited the Shahada and Darood Sharif thousands of times daily. He got dark circles around his eyes due to excessive devotions. His index finger got pressed by rotating the thousand beaded rosary. Sometimes the inner restlessness grew so much that he wept for hours.
One night, in such a state of restlessness he requested Fatimah-tuz-Zahra (ra) to present his plea in the court of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) to guide him on the straight path towards ultimate closeness of Allah. Then this prayer became his routine. The prayer asked through the mediation of Fatima-tuz-Zahra (ra) was acceptance. This acceptance manifested in the way that he started getting spiritual guidance and was ordered to search for the spiritual guide.
Search for Spiritual Guide
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen travelled the entire country in search of spiritual guide. He met a lot of guides but none touched his heart. Meanwhile he had the privilege of seeing Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) in his dream who was saying to him, “Son! I am waiting for you, come soon.” He also said while pointing towards Ism-e-Allah Zaat “I have this Trust of yours which is waiting for you.” Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen was anxious to find the sacred personality he saw in the dream. Restlessness was increasing day by day. One night he slept on his prayer mat while weeping and saw Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra) in his dream. He gave him a clue to visit the shrine of Sultan Bahoo (ra).
On 12th April 1998, he set for the shrine of Sultan Bahoo (ra) early in the morning. From there he was ordered to go to the shrine of Sultan Abdul Aziz (ra) which is near Sultan Bahoo’s (ra) shrine. When he reached the shrine of Sultan Abdul Aziz (ra) and entered the room of Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra), he found the beautiful face of his dream. Hence, the eternal beginning and end became the same for him and there remained no question unanswered. After the Maghrib prayer, on 12th April 1998, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman took oath of allegiance on the hand of Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra). He became the beloved of his spiritual guide on the very first day of allegiance. He is at the highest pedestal of belovedness and he is rising day by day.
Love for his Spiritual Guide
After the oath he drowned in the love of his spiritual guide so much so he forgot his own self. He renounced the gatherings of his friends and relatives, even he disregarded his own needs. He was perpetually worried about the happiness and comfort of his spiritual guide. His only concern was to make his spiritual guide happy. He was even ready to sacrifice his life merely for a single smile and a glance of love from his spiritual guide. Hence for Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) he became the dearest and most worthy disciple among all other disciples which is proved by following few examples.
- Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) granted the first stage of invocation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat “AllaHoo” to all his disciples after taking oath. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen was the first ever disciple whom he granted Sultan-ul-Azkar Hoo which is the final stage of invocation. Not only this but before his death Sultan-ul-Faqr VI also permitted Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen on 12 November 2003 to grant gold Ism-e-Allah Zaat, Sultan-ul-Azkar Hoo and the inscribing practice of Ism-e-Allah Zaat on body (mashq marqoom-e-wajudia) to the seekers of Allah. He did not grant this permission to his any other khalifah (Spiritual Successor).
- Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman is the only disciple of Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) whom he granted Ism-e-Mohammad.
- It was only Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman who performed the duty of preparing Ism-e-Allah Zaat and Ism-e-Mohammad during the life of Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra). Before death Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali’s (ra) last words to Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen were about entrusting Ism-e-Allah Zaat and Ism-e-Mohammad to him.
He Served His Spiritual Guide in Every Way Possible
Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) gave the responsibility of publications to Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. He fulfilled this responsibility magnificently in spite of having no previous experience of journalism. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen issued the monthly magazine Mirat-ul-Arifeen in April 2000 and continued publishing it successfully till August 2004. He also laid the foundation of Maktaba Al-Arifeen in April 2002 and published many books.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen left no stone unturned in serving his spiritual guide. He was always there to fulfil every need of his spiritual guide whether it was his clothes for all seasons, turban, footwear or medicines. Moreover he was the one who made all the financial and other arrangements for every ceremony whether it was Mawlid-un-Nabi or the death anniversaries of earlier spiritual leaders of Sarwari Qadri order.
He arranged a comfortable car for his spiritual guide’s travelling, expensive weapons for his safety, air-conditioner for his room. He even provided the finances for the land for shrine of his spiritual guide. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen also devoted his house and adjacent land for the office of Islahi Jamat of his spiritual guide in Lahore. Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) inaugurated this office on Wednesday, 18 November 1998 (28 Rajab 1419 AH) at 04:00 pm by hoisting the flag of Islahi Jamat. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen not only took care of the personal needs of his spiritual guide but also worked very hard for the progress of his Islahi Jamat.
Trials of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
To spread the message of Allah, he travelled around Pakistan many times. He reached every nook and corner of the country to search the seekers of Allah. Then he took them to the perfect spiritual guide Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra). Due to his unique style of preaching, a large number of seekers of Allah took oath of allegiance at the hand of Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) after every fifteen days. Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) was so happy with his dedication that he appointed him the patron in chief of Islahi Jamat in Lahore.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s spiritual guide tested him several times. Each time, his sincerest love made him pass through the test successfully. Whatever responsibility his spiritual guide assigned him, he fulfilled it obediently. Once Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) said about him,
“Najib’s example is the same as mentioned in the quote ‘I have no will of my own, I am pleased at the will of my beloved’.”
In this way Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen annihilated in his spiritual guide Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) and became his exact reflection. He has uttered in his poetry:
نجیبؔ نہ رہا باقی، یار کی ذات میں فنا ہو گیا
اپنے غیر سمجھ نہ سکے، کہتے ہیں کہ کیا سے کیا ہو گیا
سنو! نجیب تو کب کا مر چکا اے دوستو
یار سے جب یار مِلا، میں‘ میں نہ رہا وہ ہو گیا
Explanation: Najib has annihilated in his beloved and thus, lost his own self. People could not understand what happened to him and how he has totally changed. Listen friends! Najib does not exist anymore. When I became spiritually one with my beloved, his being became my being.
Centre of Attention of Spiritual Guide
In this journey of love and dedication for his spiritual guide, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had to face many obstacles. He specially faced jealousy from fellow disciples because he had become the center of attention of Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra). However neither any obstacle nor jealousy of anyone could stop him owing to his true love, dedication, diligence, courage and perseverance.
Inward Trials of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
Along with the outward trials Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had to pass through many inward trails. Which were so tough that he says,
“If a mountain had to endure the inner trails which I had to pass through it would have crushed to particles.”
Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) made Sultan-ul- Ashiqeen pass through such arduous trails only because he wanted to test his capability as the heir of the Divine Trust.
Entrusting of the Divine Trust
Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman never demanded anything in return of his services and sacrifices. He just wanted to please his spiritual guide. Due to his sincere love and services Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) chose him for entrusting the Divine Trust as Allah says in Sura Ash-Shura verse 13:
“Allah chooses whom He wills.”
When Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) had tested Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen as the heir of the Divine Trust to his satisfaction, he intended to perform Hajj in 2001. He told Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen that the Hajj was very important for both of them. However, there was no finance for the Hajj. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had already spent his entire wealth in the way of Allah. Hence he sold his car to pay for the expenses of Hajj.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen performed Hajj along with his spiritual guide Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) and a few other companions on 9 March, 2001. Afterwards they left for Madina on 18 March.
On the blessed day of 21st March 2001, during his presence at the tomb of the Holy Prophet (pbuh), Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) presented his most capable and beloved disciple Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman in the court of Holy Prophet (pbuh). He was instantly approved and chosen as the next heir of the Divine Trust and Spiritual Leader of the Sarwari Qadri Order due to his selfless dedication, true Divine Love, courage, steadfastness and many other unprecedented and worthy qualities. At that occasion Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) uttered the historical words while looking into the eyes of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen,
“I have found my spiritual confidant.”
Training of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
After returning to Pakistan, Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) started the training of Sultan-ul- Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman to hold the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion, silently and secretly. Transference of the Divine Trust is a secret and it is always carried out secretly. No one becomes aware of it except the spiritual guide and the one who is chosen as the heir. However some of the disciples of Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) were given clue in their dreams.
From 2001 till 2003 Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) trained Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen by giving him more duties and making him pass through further trials. When the training was completed, he transferred the Divine Trust to Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman and left the world on 23rd December 2003. Hence the light of Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) manifested in another entity.
Adorning the Throne of Divine Guidance and Persuasion
After the death of Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra), Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen adorned the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion by the order of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra), Sultan Bahoo (ra) and Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra). Because just like it is a rule in the physical world that the throne of a king never remains empty. Similarly it is the rule of spiritual world that the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion never remains vacant. When a perfect Saint or Spiritual Leader of an Order dies, his spiritual heir instantly adorns the throne. Sultan Mohammad became the title of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen when he adorned the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion.
From here starts that phase of life of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen for which he was being prepared since childhood. Now he had become the perfect spiritual guide from a disciple and seeker of Allah. Now it had become obligatory upon him to show path towards Allah to the seekers of Allah who search for Him and guide them on this path.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had started giving Ism-e-Allah Zaat and Sultan-ul-Azkaar Hoo to the seekers of Allah in the life of his spiritual guide Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra) by his permission. After adorning the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had not yet taken any outward step to call people towards the path of Faqr but by the Grace of Allah the seekers of Allah were spontaneously attracted towards him. He gave them Ism-e-Allah Zaat and invocation of Hoo without taking oath of allegiance from them. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen started taking oath of allegiance from seekers in 2005 on 14th August the date of blessed birth of his spiritual guide. From that day onwards he started the new phase of his struggle which continues till date.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Cleanses the Innerself of the Seekers of Allah
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman is the man of Divine Essence and the perfect spiritual guide possessing the light of Divine guidance. He is the Fakir Malik al-Mulki (master of worlds Fakir), hence his spiritual sight is not bounded to any place. Whether the seekers of Allah are present in his company or in another corner of the world, all are blessed equally by the beneficence of his sight. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen cleanses the innerself of the seekers of Allah by his powerful spiritual sight and celestial company and thus elevates them to the highest spiritual stations. However the seeker must be true to his desire for Allah.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Revolutionised the Path of Faqr
After acceding to the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion of the Sarwari Qadri Order, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen took revolutionary steps, physical as well as spiritual. To invite the entire Muslim umma towards Faqr which is the soul of Islam and make this path easy for the seekers of Allah.
In the past, invocation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat was given to the disciples and seekers in four stages.
That is; AllaHoo (اللہُ), Lillah (للہُ), LaHoo (لہُ) and Hoo (ھُو). After adorning the throne of Divine guidance and persuasion Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen revolutionised the path of Faqr such that instead of giving Ism-e-Allah Zaat in four stages, he blesses his every disciple with the Sultan-ul-Azkaar Hoo immediately after taking oath of allegiance. He also grants Ism-e-Allah Zaat for contemplation and its inscribing practice (mashq marqoom-e-wajudia) to the disciples on the very first day of allegiance thus making it easy for them to travel the stations of Faqr.
To spread the beneficence of Ism-e-Allah Zaat, he published the book Haqeeqat-e-Ism-e-Allah Zaat (The Divine Reality of Ism-e-Allah Zaat) and distributed it free of cost.
He has also spread the beneficence of Ism-e-Mohammad which was earlier granted only to the specially chosen seekers of Allah. However, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has blessed a large number of his disciples with the contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat.
It is only due to the highest spiritual rank and boundless beneficence of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen that he has blessed many true seekers of Allah with the ultimate spiritual level of Divine vision and presence in the Mohammadan Assembly. Moreover he has also granted them the special spiritual knowledge llm-e-Dawat. It was previously restricted only to the special Saints.
Marvels of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
Another of his marvel is that he converts the seekers of world and hereafter into the seekers of Allah by his spiritually effective sight. He cleanses their inwards from the love of world and hereafter and enlightens them with the Divine light. He has also blessed many of his disciples with such a knowledge and abilities which they did not possess. He bestowed some disciples with the ability to translate the Persian books of Sultan Bahoo (ra) in Urdu and English. Some disciples are blessed with the skill of poetry. And some with the art of oration while some have become proficient in computer and digital technology.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has written 24 Books
In addition to these revolutionary spiritual steps, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has also taken numerous physical steps to spread the message of true religion which is Faqr. He has written 24 books upon mysticism and Faqr. They are a masterpiece of inspirational knowledge and replete with treasures of gnosis of Allah. Shams-ul-Fuqara is the encyclopedia of gnosis and Faqr. It contains the essence of thousand books of mysticism. And it is the summarised form of all books of Sultan Bahoo (ra). It imparts complete knowledge upon every topic of Sufism.
Mujtaba Akhir Zamani is his other masterpiece. In this book he has discussed the correct lineage of Spiritual Leaders of Sarwari Qadri Order, their complete researched biographies as well as teachings. Actually, after Sultan Bahoo (ra) many fraudulents had wrongly associated themselves with the Sarwari Qadri Order. And common people were unaware of the correct Order. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman acquainted the world with the grandeur of these Spiritual Leaders through his book Mujtaba Akhir Zamani. He also spread their teachings and mystic poetry through audio and video content. So that people are inclined towards them and gain the beneficence of real spiritual Order. Due to these efforts of Sultan-ul- Ashiqeen, all the spiritual leaders conferred upon him the title of Shan-e-Faqr (The Glory of Faqr).
He also researched on the Abyat (mystic poetry) of Sultan Bahoo (ra) and published the book Abyat- e-Bahoo Kamil. It is also a masterpiece and a unique gift for the learned people.
Faqr (Sufism)
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen took upon himself the responsibility of inviting seekers of Allah towards the path of Truth. The first difficulty he had to face was that the Muslim umma was totally unaware of Faqr. It was due to increasing sectarianism which has inclined the whole umma towards reforming their outward. Hence no one cares about the inward. Another reason is extremism which has taken everyone away from the soul of religion. The soul of religion is Faqr.
The Holy Prophet (pbuh) said about Faqr:
“Faqr is my pride and Faqr is from me. I am superior to all Messengers and Prophets due to Faqr.”
Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra) writes about Faqr while explaining this Hadith in his book Sirr-ul-Asrar,
“Here Faqr does not mean poverty as is generally understood by common people. Rather here it means being dependent only upon Allah and renounce all the pleasures of world and hereafter except the closeness of Allah.”
In order to propagate the message of Faqr among the Muslims all over the world in an organised manner Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen laid the foundation of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr on 23rd October 2009. This organisation has many departments which are working for the propagation of Faqr.
Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr
Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr is a registered, non-government and non-political organization which has no connection with sectarianism. Its office holders and members of Majlis-e-Shura are elected through elections. Which are held every year according to the manifesto of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr. The sole objective behind establishment of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr is to invite people from all over the world towards the path of Faqr. They find spiritual purgation and closeness of Allah which is necessary to reach the spiritual levels of Divine vision and presence in the Mohammadan Assembly.
All members of this Tehreek are the disciples of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. He has trained them physically as well as spiritually with great love, care and dedication. Under his supervision all these members are busy in preaching the message of Truth through their respective departments. Some of the departments of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr are as follows:
Departments of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr
The Preaching Department
This department comprises of the preachers who travel to different cities. They call people towards Ism-e-Allah Zaat and the perfect spiritual guide. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen also visits various cities every year for preaching purpose. During these preaching tours a large number of seekers of Allah take oath of allegiance upon his sacred hand.
Sultan-ul-Faqr Publications
In August 2006, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen issued the Monthly magazine Sultan-ul-Faqr. Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr still publishes it successfully. In addition to this magazine, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has written 24 books on Faqr (Sufism) and mysticism. His chosen disciples have translated most of these books in English. He has also trained his disciples for translating the Persian books of Sultan Bahoo (ra) in English and Urdu. Till now more than 10 books of Sultan Bahoo (ra) have been translated in English and Urdu. Further translations are in pipeline.
Sultan-ul-Faqr Digital Productions
In order to spread the teachings of Faqr worldwide Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman established the department of Digital Productions. This department is running 23 English/Urdu websites. They have specially designed websites in Urdu and English on the life and teachings of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. That is available for online reading. All the 201 Abyat of Sultan Bahoo (ra) recited in beautiful voice of Mohammad Ramzan Bahoo are especially available on these channels for the devotees and lovers.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is spreading the teachings of Faqr through every medium
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman has been continuously spreading the treasure of Faqr. Previously it was transferred from person to person or was present in the form of manuscripts. He published it in the form of books. He made them available on popular websites like Issue, Slide Share, Scribd and Google Books in the form of electronic books, thus taking them out of the limited world of physical books. He also took the revolutionary step of propagating the message of Faqr through social media like Facebook, Instagram, Tumbler, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, Tune.pk, Likee, Tik Tok etc. In short, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is spreading the message of Faqr through every possible medium.
It is a clear proof of his miraculously marvelous wisdom, intelligence and hard work that none of the disciples working for any department is professionally trained. Their proficiency owes to the beneficence of training given by Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. He continuously monitors every department of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr and never lets any fault creep in.
Khanqah
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has established Khanqah Silsila Sarwari Qadri on the pattern of the platform of Suffa. The activities of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr are regularly conducted in it. He provided his residence for this purpose. This Khanqah is the centre of all activities of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr. The seekers of Allah coming from far off areas also stay here for training.
Address of Khanqah: 4-5/A Extension Education Town Lahore.
Due to the increasing activities of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr and rapidly growing number of disciples and lovers of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, this Khanqah is not sufficient now. Hence he has started construction of a vast project by the name Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. It is in Rangeel Pur, Sundar Adda Multan road, Lahore. A mosque Masjid-e-Zahra is under construction adjacent to it. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s Khalifah Sultan Mohammad Naeem Abbas Sarwari Qadri will shoulder the responsibility of construction of Khanqah and mosque. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has also announced him the lifetime patron in chief of the Khanqah. The Sajjada Nasheen of the Khanqah is Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s honourable son Sultan Mohammad Murtaza Najib. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has appointed Sultan Mohammad Abdullah Iqbal and Sultan Mohammad Hasnain Mahboob as the first and second deputy Sajjada Nasheen respectively.
Khalifahs of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen took oath of allegiance from Sahibzada Sultan Mohammad Murtaza Najib on Saturday, 22 October 2016 after the Maghrib salat at the shrine of Sultan-ul-Tarikeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Abdullah Shah Madni Jilani (ra) and also granted him his own turban. Then on 21st November, 2018 (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1440 AH) he officially announced him as his Khalifah. On 28th June 2020, Sunday, Sahibzada Sultan Mohammad Murtaza Najib started taking oath of allegiance from seekers of Allah. He blessed his disciples with Ism-e-Allah Zaat by the permission of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen granted Khilafat to his most special disciples. He granted it to Sultan Mohammad Abdullah Iqbal Sarwari Qadri and Sultan Mohammad Hasnain Mahboob Sarwari Qadri on 21st March, 2019 at the Mawlid ceremony held to celebrate the day of transference of Divine Trust to Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen.
He bestowed Khilafat upon two more of his chosen disciples. Who are Sultan Mohammad Naeem Abbas Sarwari Qadri and Sultan Mohammad Nasir Hameed Sarwari Qadri on 10th October, 2019 (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1441 AH).
Hence, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has granted Khilafat to his five disciples so far.
Online Oath of Allegiance
As the result of preaching by Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr under his supervision, thousands of seekers of Allah from all over the world have taken oath of allegiance upon his hand and have been blessed with the beneficence of Ism-e-Allah Zaat and gnosis of Allah. A large number of non-Muslims have also accepted Islam on his hand and have adopted the path of righteousness.
For the overseas disciples Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has provided the facility of taking online oath of allegiance. It is a revolutionary step in the world of Faqr. Numerous seekers of Truth have taken online oath at the hand of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen and acquired gnosis of Allah. This step of providing the facility of online oath by Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman has been commended internationally so much so that a student from university of Sheffield published a research article on online oath of allegiance in which the procedure of online oath provided by Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr on the website www.sultan-bahoo.com is considered the best and a revolutionary step.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is the Reviver of True Religion
The revolutionary steps taken by Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen to modernise the method of spreading the message of Faqr are unprecedented. The Mohammadan Assembly acknowledged his efforts and titled him Aftab-e-Faqr (The Sun of Faqr) and Shabeeh-e Ghaus al-Azam (Reflection of Ghaus al-Azam). Undoubtedly Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has revived the true religion in this age of materialism. He is truly the Universal Divine Man and Reviver of religion of the era. He has no interest in fame, politics or media. Being indifferent to all such things he has continued his mission over the past 16 years. Many opposed and hindered his path still he remained focused and spread Faqr (Sufism). Away from media, fame and elite he is silently busy in working for his mission. As Iqbal says:
ہوا ہے گو تُند و تیز لیکن چراغ اپنا جلا رہا ہے
وہ مردِ درویش جس کو حق نے دیۓ ہیں انداز خسروانہ
Explanation: The tempest is raging. The Dervish whom Allah has blessed the manners and powers of a monarch has set alight his lamp.
Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (ra), the spiritual guide of Sultan-ul- Ashiqeen said to him,
“I am the title of Faqr while you will be its detail.”
The way Sultan-ul- Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman has spread the beneficence of Faqr is an undoubted proof of truth of these words.
