Man Has No Control Over Fate
- Man has no control over his fate except that he endeavors to seek Allah and finds Him. Sustenance, children, health, age and everything else has already been destined and cannot be changed. Effort or struggle cannot increase them. Closeness to Allah is the only blessing which is increased by virtue of effort. It is stated about this effort in the verse,
وَاَنْ لَّيْسَ لِلْاِنْسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعٰی
Meaning: “There is not for man except that for which he struggles.” (an-Najm 39)
- Upbringing of children is in Allah’s control not in parents. Satan can mislead the children even after the best guidance of the parents. Although, if a person leaves everything on Allah and diverts his attention solely towards Him then He takes care of all his responsibilities better than him. Therefore, making the fate better is possible only if a person hands over the matters of his sustenance, love, children and all other problems to Allah and directs his full attention towards Him.
Satan Cannot Control Our Sustenance
- Satan has no power to increase or decrease the sustenance. He can just baffle a person in its worry to distract his attention from Allah. The person who gets entangled in this Satanic trick and runs after sustenance forgetting Allah, only goes away from Allah, although it would neither increase nor decrease his sustenance.
- Objection on the destiny is a Satanic deed.
Depend Only On Allah
When parents direct their hopes to their children instead of Allah, they indulge in an act of making partners with Allah. Allah is One and does not allow making His partners in any case. It is the biggest sin in Allah’s court.
